1. Who we are

Epoch Ventures is a trading name of Hadamard LLC, a limited liability company organised under the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States of America ("Hadamard," "we," "our," or "us").

For the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation ("UK GDPR"), the EU General Data Protection Regulation ("EU GDPR"), and the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA"), Hadamard is the data controller for personal data submitted through this website.

2. Information we collect

We collect only personal data that you actively provide, plus the minimum technical information necessary to operate the website.

Contact and enquiry forms

When you submit a form on this website, we collect: your name, your email address, the optional company name you provide, the topic of your enquiry, and the message body. On enquiry forms about specific brands or domain names, we additionally collect the brand or domain you are enquiring about.

Server logs

Our hosting provider (Google Firebase) retains standard server request logs containing IP addresses, browser user-agent strings, requested URLs, and timestamps. These are kept for security and abuse-prevention purposes only.

What we do not collect

We do not run analytics, advertising trackers, fingerprinting, or third-party social cookies on this website. We do not place any cookies on your device. We do not buy data from data brokers.

3. Why we use it

We use the information you provide to:

  • Respond to your enquiry or message;
  • Communicate with you about the subject of your enquiry;
  • Maintain a record of correspondence in the ordinary course of business;
  • Detect and prevent abuse of the website (spam, automated submissions);
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations.

Under the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR, our lawful bases for processing are consent (you submit a form voluntarily) and our legitimate interest in operating the website and responding to enquiries. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing the address above.

4. Service providers

We rely on a small number of third-party providers to operate the website. Each one acts as a data processor under our instructions:

  • Google Firebase Hosting — serves this website and retains short-term server logs.
  • Google Workspace (Gmail) — receives and stores email correspondence sent to brett@epochventures.com.
  • FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) — processes form submissions and forwards them by email to us.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any other third party. We do not use your data for advertising.

5. International data transfers

Hadamard LLC is established in the United States, and our service providers are also based in the United States. If you are in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, or another jurisdiction with cross-border data-protection rules, your personal data is transferred to and stored in the United States.

For UK and EU data subjects, transfers are made under the relevant adequacy decisions where they apply, and otherwise under the Standard Contractual Clauses published by our service providers. Submitting a form on this website constitutes your acknowledgement of this transfer.

6. Retention

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as is reasonably necessary to manage the relationship and any matters arising from it — typically up to twenty-four months from the date of the most recent contact, after which the record is deleted unless we are required to retain it under a separate legal obligation. Server logs are retained for up to ninety days.

7. Your rights (UK and EU GDPR)

If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you;
  • Have inaccurate data corrected;
  • Have your data deleted (the "right to erasure");
  • Restrict or object to our processing of your data;
  • Receive your data in a portable, machine-readable format;
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent;
  • Lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or your local supervisory authority.

8. Your rights (California — CCPA)

If you are a California resident, the CCPA gives you the right to:

  • Know the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected;
  • Request deletion of your personal information, subject to limited exceptions;
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — note that we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising;
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

9. Children

This website is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from any individual under the age of sixteen. If you believe a child has submitted information through this website, contact us and we will delete the record.

11. Security

We rely on industry-standard transport encryption (HTTPS) for all communication with this website, and on the security controls provided by our service providers. No internet transmission can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure, and you submit information at your own risk.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date of the latest revision is shown at the top of this page. Material changes will be flagged on the page when they take effect.
